DAY 1: Arrival in Arusha and transfer to the hotel. Our team will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Arusha, where you will have a chance to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

DAY 2: We begin our trek at Machame Gate and hike to Machame Camp, where we spend the night. This is a moderate hiking day, where we pass through the rainforest zone and reach Machame Camp, located at an altitude of 3,010 meters. Here, we will set up our tents, enjoy a hot meal, and rest for the night.

DAY 3: We continue our ascent through the forest and heathland, with stunning views of Mt. Meru and the Shira Plateau. Today’s hike will take us through the forest, where we will see various bird species and possibly some wildlife, before reaching the heathland zone. We will set up camp at Shira Camp, located at an altitude of 3,840 meters, where we will spend the night.

DAY 4: We ascend to Lava Tower and then descend to Barranco Camp, where we spend the night. This is a challenging day as we ascend to Lava Tower, which is located at an altitude of 4,640 meters. From here, we will descend to Barranco Camp, located at an altitude of 3,950 meters. This descent will help us acclimatize to the altitude and prepare us for the next few days of hiking.

DAY 5: We continue our ascent to Karanga Camp, located just below the southern ice field of Kibo. Today’s hike is a short one, but it’s steep and challenging as we climb up the Barranco Wall and hike through the Karanga Valley. We will set up camp at Karanga Camp, located at an altitude of 3,995 meters, where we will spend the night.

DAY 6: We trek to Barafu Camp, where we prepare for our final ascent to the summit. Today’s hike will take us to Barafu Camp, located at an altitude of 4,673 meters. We will rest and prepare for our final ascent to the summit, which will begin around midnight.

DAY 7: We reach the summit of Kilimanjaro at Uhuru Peak, then descend to Mweka Camp for our final night on the mountain. Today is the day we have been preparing for. We will wake up around midnight and begin our final ascent to the summit of Kilimanjaro. We will reach the summit at sunrise and take in the breathtaking views before descending to Mweka Camp, located at an altitude of 3,100 meters, where we will spend our final night on the mountain.

DAY 8: We descend through the forest to Mweka Gate and transfer back to the hotel in Arusha. This is our final hiking day as we descend through the forest to Mweka Gate, located at an altitude of 1,640 meters. Here, we will say goodbye to our team and transfer back to our hotel in Arusha, where we will celebrate our successful summit and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
