After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch approximately 118km from Arusha, Tanzania’s third largest national park famous for its large herds of elephants. Apart from baobab trees that are wonderfully dotting the park it is also a sanctuary for birds with estimated 550 bird species. Tarangire River is the only source of water all year round which draws animals to the river which gives a spectacular view of great wildlife diversity from lions, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeest. After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro conservation area authority with numerous stopovers at viewpoint overlooking the crater, Olduvai Gorge an archaeological site. On crossing the Naabi Hill gate lunch will be served at the picnic site followed by game viewing en route to central Serengeti arriving in time for dinner and overnight at serengeti acacia bliss
We can wake early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti at dawn if you wish. This should be discussed with your safari guide the previous night. After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive in this area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in this Mara River area, with Prides of lion up to 30 strong, however from July to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note – actually finding a crossing is very difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to river and only decide to cross or not cross until a couple of days later. Today you will leave after a leisurely breakfast and drive to the Central Serengeti one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Mara River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. After breakfast set off for another morning game drive to in the park; after hot lunch at the lodge proceeds to Ngorongoro game drive en route then you will descend into the crater floor for tour with picnic lunch.
