Day 2: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Musanze

Begin your exploration of Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, a city known for its clean streets, safety, and rich history.

08:30 AM: Visit Kigali Genocide Memorial – A solemn yet deeply insightful experience, this memorial honors the victims of the 1994 genocide and provides historical context about Rwanda’s resilience and rebuilding.
11:30 AM: Visit Kimironko Market – Kigali’s largest and most vibrant local market, where you’ll experience the daily hustle of traders selling fresh produce, fabrics, crafts, and local goods. It’s an excellent place to interact with locals and get a taste of Rwandan daily life.
01:00 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant – Enjoy authentic Rwandan cuisine, including dishes like brochettes (grilled meat skewers), Isombe (cassava leaves with groundnuts), and Ugali (maize meal).
